About SES Electrical Contractors

SES Electrical Contractors is an NICEIC-approved electrical contractor based in Chiswick and working across London. Our focus is fire safety and electrical compliance — fire alarms, emergency lighting, EICRs and maintenance — for commercial properties, landlords, managing agents, and churches and community buildings. Being NICEIC-approved means our electrical work is regularly assessed against the current wiring regulations and we can issue the correct certification, so our clients and their buildings stay compliant.

Most of our work is ongoing rather than one-off. We build long-term, compliance-led relationships with the people responsible for buildings — keeping fire alarms serviced, certificates in date and electrics safe, year after year, so inspections and certification stay in date and there are no nasty surprises.

The person behind SES

SES is led by Byron Sanders, an experienced electrical and fire-alarm contractor with more than two decades working in London buildings. Byron remains directly involved in surveys, system design, technical fault-finding and client support, giving customers a consistent point of contact from the initial visit through to ongoing maintenance.

Experience and credentials

With over two decades of experience across London, we've worked on everything from managed office blocks and HMOs to much-loved parish churches. Our work is carried out to the current wiring regulations, BS 7671, and our fire alarm systems are designed, installed and tested to the British Standard for fire detection and alarm systems, BS 5839 — Part 1 for commercial and non-domestic premises, and Part 6 for domestic and HMO systems. Fire alarm installation, testing and inspection sit at the centre of what we do, backed by genuine experience in churches, community centres and managed properties where the work has to be done carefully and certified properly.
