Fire Safety

Fire alarm systems, designed, installed and serviced

A fire alarm is only as good as its design, its wiring and its servicing. We look after all three — so your system does its job the day it's needed, and your paperwork holds up in the meantime.

What we do

The right system, wired properly, kept in good order

We design, install and service fire alarm systems for commercial premises, community buildings and places of worship across London. If you're fitting out a new space, we'll work out what coverage the building needs and install it cleanly. If you've taken on a building with an alarm already in it — and no real record of who fitted it or when it was last checked — we'll survey what's there, tell you honestly where it stands and get it back onto a proper footing.

Life protection or property protection, in plain terms

Fire alarm systems are graded by what they're there to protect. The "L" categories are about protecting people: L1 covers the whole building with detection everywhere, down toL5, which covers a specific risk you've identified. The "P" categories are about protecting the building and its contents — P1 throughout, P2 in the higher-risk areas. Most buildings land somewhere sensible in between, and the right answer comes from your fire risk assessment rather than a catalogue. We'll explain what your building actually needs and why, without pushing you towards more than the job calls for.

Servicing that keeps everyone happy

A fire alarm needs regular attention to stay reliable and to stay compliant. We set up servicing visits on a schedule that suits the building, test the panel, detectors, call points and sounders, sort out anything that's failed and leave you with a certificate. That's the document your insurer and fire officer will ask for, and the one your fire risk assessment relies on. Keep the visits regular and you're never scrambling to prove the system works.

Who it's for

Buildings we look after

We work with shops, offices, workshops, restaurants and other commercial premises; with halls, clubs and community buildings; and with churches and places of worship, where an alarm has to protect people and a much-loved building without being intrusive. If you're a landlord, a facilities manager, a trustee or simply the person who's ended up responsible for fire safety, we'll make it straightforward: tell us what you've got, and we'll tell you where you stand and what it takes to put it right.

Talk to us about your fire alarm

New system, an upgrade, or servicing on one you've inherited — tell us about the building and we'll arrange a visit and quote the work clearly.
